Renton, WA / Berlin, 30.06.2026 | Wizards of the Coast gibt heute die Zusammenarbeit mit dem international gefeierten Schauspieler Daniel Brühl sowie RvNxMango bekannt. Anlass ist die Veröffentlichung des neuen Sets Magic: The Gathering – Marvel Super Heroes, das ab sofort erhältlich ist und beliebte Charaktere aus dem Marvel Universum ins weltweit populärste Sammelkartenspiel bringt.
Herzstück der Kampagne ist ein hochwertiges Video, das Berlin zur Bühne eines Duells zwischen Heldinnen bzw. Helden und Schurkinnen bzw. Schurken macht und das am Ende das Publikum zu einer Entscheidung zwingt.
In einer Berliner Villa baut sich Daniel Brühl ein Schurken-Kartendeck zusammen. Brühl, der lange Jahre in Berlin gelebt hat, ist einem internationalen Publikum als Baron Zemo bekannt: ein Schurke, der in Magic: The Gathering – Marvel Super Heroes nun auch als Karte erscheint. Auf der anderen Seite der Stadt tut RvNxMango dasselbe für die Seite des Guten. Als beide bereit sind, ist die Konfrontation nicht mehr aufzuhalten. Die Widersacher treffen schließlich in der Berliner Innenstadt am Potsdamer Platz aufeinander.
Magic: The Gathering – Marvel Super Heroes ist ab sofort weltweit im Handel sowie über den Magic Online Store erhältlich.
Fans können das neue Set auch live erleben: Am 10. und 11. Juli 2026 lädt Wizards of the Coast zum offiziellen Launch-Event in The Playce in Berlin ein. Das Event richtet sich an alle Fans und bietet Gelegenheit, Magic: The Gathering – Marvel Super Heroes hautnah zu erleben.
